It has 186 members forming a cluster of 4 cooperatives in 12 coffee-growing communities. Today, COOPCHEBI specializes in the production and marketing of green coffee beans, quality coffee, and specialty coffees with 100% Arabica coffee beans and the special Geisha variety, clean and free of impurities and foreign matter. OUR BACKGROUND

Our parents Héctor and Rosa were born in 1914 and 1916, respectively, in the Andean region of Cajamarca - PERU, who due to the difficult socio-economic situation they went through, had to emigrate to the central jungle of Junin, beginning this process Don Héctor at age Of 8 years old, who after working in different jobs, in 1942 went to the region Santa Herminia - PALOMAR where he worked as a sawyer of wood and with that bought its lands to the Peruvian Corporation, for the installation of he`s coffee plantations from 1400 to 1800 feets, a cultivation that carried out with a lot of quality, environmental and social responsibility achieving to create the first school of the region in his property, leading the opening of roads by pure human strength, the creation of centers of health.
